Learning piano involves listening and trying things, but it also involves asking questions. Being able to discuss an unfamiliar idea in a language you feel comfortable with can make that conversation easier.

Choose the language that suits you

Flora is fluent in English and Cantonese and offers piano lessons in either language. Let her know your preference when you enquire. For a child's lessons, you can also explain how your family prefers to discuss goals and practical arrangements.

You do not need prior musical experience. Lessons are available for children and adults, including beginners and people returning to piano.

A personal approach to learning

The lesson focus remains your musical goals: building foundations in technique, rhythm, listening, notation and expression. Tell Flora what you enjoy, what you have already tried and where you would like guidance.

Her background includes more than 15 years of piano teaching, school music education and music therapy training. Read about Flora's experience and qualifications.

Chatswood studio and online options

In-person piano lessons take place at Flora's Chatswood studio. Online lessons are also available. Ask about a suitable instrument and setup, current availability and the arrangements for your preferred option.

Lesson fees and durations are available on request. Include your preferred language, the student's experience and possible lesson times in your initial message.
